4:00pm – Check In & Unpack
Pull up to the beautiful Stratford Parks in Stratford-upon-Avon, be shown to your luxurious riverfront lodge and breathe in that fresh countryside air. With blooming spring flowers, birdsong, and tranquil river views, the weekend already feels a world away from the everyday. Our newly refurbished lodges come with parking, a beautiful decking overlooking the River Avon, an exclusive welcome pack courtesy of Cobbs Farm, a fabulous welcome pack for your pooch, and all the home comforts that make your accommodation a home away from home.
6:00pm – Dinner and Drinks at the Riverside Venue Bar & Restaurant
After settling in, head over to the Riverside Venue which is just a short stroll from your lodge. Sip a crisp glass of rosé or a well-earned pint as you watch the sunset over the water. Choose from an extensive menu filled with seasonal favourites and hearty pub classics, then toast to the start of your weekend. The Riverside Venue hosts a range of family friendly events throughout the year too, including live music, live sports, fun fairs, markets, and more!
9:00pm – Cosy Evenings
Head back to your riverfront lodge and spend the evening on your own private decking for a spot of stargazing – our countryside location means there’s little light pollution, so you can see the night sky in all its glory! Then snuggle into a comfy bed with the gentle sounds of the river outside your window.
🌞 Saturday: River Adventures & Stratford Exploring
8:30am – Breakfast on the Decking
Wake to the sound of ducks paddling by and enjoy breakfast alfresco in the spring sunshine – think fresh croissants, hot coffee, and panoramic views of the River Avon where you can watch the activity float by – you’ll find ducks, swans, boats, barges, and paddle boarders too! We’re just a short stroll from the centre of Tiddington where you’ll be able to grab all the breakfast essentials.Â
10:00am – Family Friendly Fun
Let the children burn off some energy with a round of crazy golf or some time in the children’s play area, just a short walk from your lodge underneath the Riverside Venue. As a family friendly park, they’re sure to make some holiday friends.
11:30am – Take the River Taxi into Stratford-upon-Avon
Hop aboard our exclusive River Taxi for a unique and relaxing cruise into Stratford-upon-Avon – it’s the perfect way to see the local countryside from a different angle. Once you reach the centre of town, being dropped right outside the stunning RSC Theatre, wander cobbled streets lined with independent shops, stop for a coffee by the canal, and maybe visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace or the Butterfly Farm.
4:30pm – Return for Riverside Drinks
Make sure not to miss the last boat back to Stratford Parks at 5:20pm! Cruise back and swing by the Riverside Venue for an afternoon tipple – perhaps a chilled Pimm’s or a cheeky treat for the kids, and don’t forget more time in our play area! If you’re lucky, there’ll be films or live sports being played on the Big Screen in the Riverside Venue garden – it’s sure to create the best atmosphere.Â
7:00pm – BBQ Time!
Light up the BBQ on your private decking and cook up a spring feast – burgers, hot dogs, or even the most delicious steak from one of our local butchers or farm shops. With the river as your backdrop, this is the kind of evening memories are made of – good food, good company, and nature all around.
🌤 Sunday: Relax, Roam & Refuel
9:00am – Bacon Sandwiches & Birdwatching
Start your Sunday with a lazy breakfast on your decking, it’s spring of course! We’re thinking bacon sarnies and steaming mugs of tea, all whilst keeping an eye out for herons, kingfishers and playful swans drifting by.
11:00am – Explore Your Way
Fancy a walk? Wander along the peaceful riverbanks and take in the spring countryside – you’re sure to find some local lambs bounding about.. If you’re after even more of an adventure, hire a paddleboard or a bike on-site and glide or ride your way through nature.
2:00pm – Traditional Sunday Roast at the Riverside Venue
You’ve definitely earned it. Settle in for a hearty roast dinner of local Hereford Beef, pork or chicken with all the trimmings – and maybe a pudding or two. Our chefs serve up comfort on a plate. Book a table at our Galley Kitchen Restaurant and you can enjoy our exclusive Lava Stone Steak experience, where you can cook your own sumptuous steak on a table-side Lava Stone! It’s an experience definitely not to be missed.
4:00pm – Chill Time Back at the Lodge
Take the afternoon to relax. Read a book, play games with the kids, or have a riverside nap in the spring sunshine. Bliss.
🎠Monday: Check-Out & One Last Adventure
9:30am – Check-Out (But The Fun Doesn’t Stop There!)
Wave goodbye to your riverfront lodge, but keep the weekend spirit alive with a final stroll around Stratford-upon-Avon. Grab lunch by the river, shop for souvenirs, or even catch a matinee at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre before heading home.
